My UXR Journey…

My UXR career officially started in 2022. However, prior to that, I applied myriad hard and soft skills that intersect with the foundation of a UX Research practitioner, most notably a 6 year career as a former K-12 educator. Along with creative problem solving and inclusive communication, I also bring strong data-driven decision making, empathy, and time management prowess.

You can learn more about my path to UX Research here.

Ultimately, being a UX Researcher is allowing another path to be impactful and advocate for the experiences of historically underserved and marginalized groups. Leveraging research data and centering diverse populations to drive designs and digital experiences that keep ethics, equity, and inclusion front and center is very important to me.

Looking forward to making meaningful waves, and connecting with some dope folks along the way.
